Background

     Danny Steele worked for 31 years in education as a principal, assistant principal, teacher, coach, and assistant professor of Instructional Leadership.  He has taught and led in very diverse settings, ranging from urban, to suburban and rural, and has developed an uncanny ability to connect with all stakeholders.

• 2005 Alabama Assistant Principal of the Year
• Published 5 books including 2 with Todd Whitaker
• Presented at state and national conferences
• Spoken in school districts around the country

     Steele received his undergraduate degree from Covenant College and has graduate degrees from UAB and Samford University.  He has three mostly grown kids and resides with his wife in Birmingham, Alabama
